Project Director
Suzi has more than 20 years of specialist experience in a wide range of architecture, ranging from ecclesiastical work through areas of education, healthcare, and high-end residential and social housing.
She is a firm believer in understanding the construction and culture of a building and its occupants in order to fully appreciate the potentials they offer. Suzi has great expertise in helping clients fully understand the nature of their needs and how this can be fulfilled in their projects.
This, combined with a good knowledge of the technical aspects of design and building conservation, make leading complex projects and managing sensitive alterations to historic buildings fulfilling in both new construction and the historic environment.
As a Project Director at Caroe Architecture, Suzi has led many high-profile projects with the practice and advises in areas relating to cultural buildings, urban design and construction management. These projects include feasibility studies for the National Trust at the Wimpole Hall estate. Suzi has also managed large scale projects at St Paul’s Cathedral including, the Quinquennial Report and numerous repair, conservation and refurbishment projects.
Her reputation is particularly strong in the management of complex projects in which the environment must remain in use and occupied throughout the period of major works and in the practical application of the technical aspects of building conservation.
